The Müllerthal
The Müllerthal is a natural region south of Park Walsdorf and northeast of Luxembourg City. It is also called "Little Switzerland," because the high rock formations, streams and waterfall give the impression that you are walking in Switzerland. Many hiking trails run through this beautiful forest area, where you will be amazed by the amazing, rugged nature. There are wonderful viewpoints and the beautiful rock formations invite you to climb, explore and admire. The trails are connected, but can also be walked separately. Some walks are also very suitable for families with children such as the C2 Gorge Route.
Canoeing
The sun is shining, all the vistas in the area have already been admired and you are looking for adventure: then it's time for a canoe trip on the Sure!
In the high season, you will embark in Dillingen for a 14 kilometer trip through beautiful waterways. In your 2- or 3-person canoe you will tame the waters of Luxembourg, but fortunately you are not alone. The kids, the dog and the neighbors are coming along, too. After docking the canoe, walk to the bus station to take a (free) public bus back to your car in Dillingen. And then relax with a drink and dinner at the Resort Walsdorf park restaurant. Now that's a great day on the water with lots of fun!
